At H Smith (Engineers) we have a large multi-disciplined team of directly employed operatives and staff – we do not rely on the ‘sub-contracting mentality’. Every member of staff is safety trained.

Our activities can broadly be split into three fields (all three of which we often provide on a single project):

Construction

Reliability and consistency are paramount in this industry, something reflected by the fact that several of our staff have been with us for over 30 years. We maintain the training of the next generation to ensure continuity of quality of service and reliability.

Our plant fleet is fully owned and encompasses the entire range of necessary equipment. We can provide anything from small hand tools and attachments to bobcats and mini-excavators, right up to the super long reach excavators used on high-rise structures.
